Follow Our Streamlined Process to Make Figtree PACE Financing Available to Your Community.
Figtree offers a guide to help cities and counties get familiar and get started with the Figtree PACE Program. Click below to download The Figtree PACE Program City and County Action Plan.
If you're ready to fast track your city or county's participation in Figtree PACE, you'll need to identify your type of organization in the column labeled "How to Get Started" in the Action Plan charted below. After you have identified your organization's classification, use the corresponding row to determine the required Board of Supervisors or Council resolution(s). You can click on the the required documents to obtain a sample in PDF format.
Resolution A: County or City must join CEDA.
If your city or county is not already a member of CEDA, you must pass an Associate Membership Resolution and Agreement to become a member of CEDA.
Resolution B: Pass a Resolution Authorizing CEDA to Conduct Assessment District Proceedings.
This authorizes CEDA to include properties within your county or city in the assessment district proceedings for Figtree PACE. In order to make PACE financing available (i.e. levy a voluntary assessment against properties within your jurisdiction), the applicable city council or county board of supervisors must pass the Resolution Authorizing CEDA to Conduct Assessment District Proceedings.
Resolution C: Pass a Resolution of Consent to "opt-in" to your county's PACE program.
The Resolution of Consent is passed at the city council level to allow properties within the incorporated city boundaries participate in an existing county program. This streamlined procedure eliminates the need for individual cities to conduct assessment district proceedings.
